Handwriting on the Wall

     In the Old Testament there is a story of a King who pillaged the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. In celebration, he hosts a banquet during which a mysterious hand appears and writes on the wall, warning the King of his impending doom.

Architectural Lines

     For this group of cyanotypes, I wanted to my prints to be reminiscent of architectural blueprints. The cyanotype process has a history of being used to reproduce technical drawings and document structural elements of things. I wanted to capture the lines and geometry of different structures, while also engaging the space within.
